The players of Ballinamore Sean O'Heslin's and Mohill were representing not only their club, but also their parish townland in yesterday's Leitrim SFC final...
The match programme organisers left no stone unturned in their preparations for the big day as the team sheets listed the townland or street of each panel member.
The first-ever Leitrim SFC final to be televised live, new county manager Andy Moran was in attendance as Ballinamore Seán O’Heslin’s lifted the Fenagh Cup for the first time since 1990 following a 1-16 to 0-17 win over the holders in an entertaining encounter at Avant Money Páirc Seán MacDiarmada.
