The semi-final pairings in the Kilkenny senior hurling championship are now known after the completion of the competition’s quarter-finals stage.

Four-in-a-row chasing Ballyhale Shamrocks will face James Stephens in a repeat of the 2019 decider while 2016 winners O’Loughlin Gaels take on Tullaroan.

Earlier today, Ballyhale defeated Bennettsbridge on a 0-27 to 1-15 score-line with talisman TJ Reid once again in red-hot form while James Stephens edged neighbours and last year’s runners up Dicksboro by 2-16 to 2-15.

Elsewhere, Tullaroan defeated Clara by 1-29 to 2-19 and yesterday saw O’Loughlin Gaels make their goals county in a 2-19 to 0-19 victory over Mullinavat.
