Sean O’Shea struck 0-11, including the last two points, as Kenmare Shamrocks recorded a dramatic 0-17 to 1-13 victory over Dingle to move into the Kerry senior club football final next weekend.

Kenmare had home advantage for this one and led by 0-6 to 0-3 at the first water break prior to Conor Geaney’s goal only leaving a point in it at the half (0-9 to 1-5).

O’Shea’s deadly accuracy had the hosts three to the good midway through the second-half but the points of Paul, Michael and Niall Geaney saw Dingle move one in front.

With the pressure on, O’Shea nailed two late frees to give Kenmare the victory which sets up a final date against holders Austin Stacks after the Tralee men saw off Templenoe comfortably 3-9 to 0-4.

Stacks won last year’s final against Kenmare after extra time by 1-17 to 1-14 and will be bidding for their third successive crown next weekend.
