De La Salle's Waterford SHC relegation play-off clash with Ballysaggart last night was postponed because of a floodlight failure at Fraher Field.
A crowd of 1,200 spectators were left in the dark after the floodlights at the Dungarvan grounds contracted a fault which could not be found.
When the lights were eventually brought back into life, they went out again, and the match was abandoned after a half-hour delay.
The relegation play-off to determine who is demoted to the intermediate ranks for 2022 will be re-fixed for a later date.
Fraher Field will host this afternoon's other relegation decider between Ballyduff Upper and Clonea as holders Ballygunner take on Mount Sion in the first of the two semi-finals at Walsh Park.
