Age is proving to be no barrier for former Donegal defender Martin Shovlin who continues to line out for his club at the age of 60.
Donegal Live is reporting that the 1992 All-Ireland winner played the last quarter of Naomh Ultan's Donegal IFC 'B' match against Naomh Bríd on Sunday. Remarkably, Shovlin was joined on the Naomh Ultan team by 57-year-old Liam Kennedy, who played the full match for the Dunkineely-based club, who lost by 1-10 to 1-11.
