There is some good news for those 40,000 spectators lucky enough to be attending the All-Ireland hurling final between Cork and Limerick at Croke Park this afternoon.

Met Éireann is predicting that Croker will see plenty of dry weather and sunny spells with highest temperatures of 20 degrees. There is a chance of a "an isolated light shower", however.

"Generally cloudy this morning but sunny spells will develop through the day. It will be a dry day with just a chance of an isolated light shower. Temperatures will reach around 20 degrees and there'll be light westerly winds," the Irish National Meteorological Service says.
