Killian Sampson, who was one of the stars of Offaly's recent National Hurling League Division 2A success, has been named at centre back for tomorrow evening's Leinster U20HC quarter-final against Kildare in Tullamore.
Luke Nolan, Dara Maher and Jack Screeney are the other survivors from the team that lost to Dublin at the same stage of last year’s championship. Niall Lyons, who came on as a sub on that occasion, starts at corner forward, while Charlie Mitchell - who played in the Faithful's 2020 Leinster MHC final defeat to Kilkenny nine days ago - is in the other corner.
Mark Troy, Sam Bourke, Joseph Hoctor and Luke Carey are the other 2020 minors included in manager Gary Cahill's squad for the game against a Kildare team who scored a sensational victory over Wexford in the first round last week.
