Mayo GAA are dealing with Covid-19 related issues ahead of this weekend’s Connacht senior football championship semi-final against Leitrim.

It is understood that a number of players are isolating and that the squad is pressing ahead with its preparations for Sunday’s clash in Castlebar.

Mayo county board released a statement this morning after rumours had circulated of Covid-19 related issues last night.

"Mayo GAA are currently working with the HSE on a number of Covid-19 related queries amongst members of the County Senior Football panel,” the statement read.

"Mayo GAA are following HSE guidelines and our Senior team are continuing their preparation for Sunday’s Connacht Championship game versus Leitrim."
