Team news: Callanan back for Tipp

Seamus Callanan is in line to make his first start of the year for Tipperary against Division 1 strugglers Westmeath in the Allianz Hurling League on Sunday.

The Premier County captain has been named at full forward as part of six changes made by manager Liam Sheedy ahead of the trip to TEG Cusack Park, with Brian Hogan returning in goal, Brendan Maher stepping into the centre back role and Brian McGrath selected in the number seven position.

The other changes see Michael Breen coming into midfield and Willie Connors picked at wing forward. Making way are Barry Hogan, Seamus Kennedy, Ronan Maher, Alan Flynn, Dillon Quirke and John O’Dwyer.
