Donegal manager Declan Bonner was pleased his side's battling qualities came to the fore once again as they fought back from four points down at half-time to earn a 1-16 apiece draw with Armagh at the Athletic Grounds yesterday evening.
For the second game running, the Tír Chonaill men came from behind to salvage a point as a late effort from man-of-the-match Paddy McBrearty secured them a place in the Allianz League Division 1 semi-finals at Armagh's expense.
"Thought the second half was a good performance, another tough battle"

"Armagh are a very strong, physical side, asked a lot of questions of us in the first half. They went in at half time four points up and probably deserved to be four points up," Bonner told eir Sport afterwards.
"I thought the second half was a really good performance, winning 1-10 to 1-6 and the lads coming off the bench definitely gave us energy and scores which were vital. [It was] another tough battle.
"We were without a lot of experienced players, we didn't have Michael [Murphy] or Neil [McGee] and Paddy McGrath has been missing. There's a lot of young lads coming in taking on that responsibilty.
"We have a semi-final coming up in two weeks' time but the focus has to be on the Ulster championship in four weeks and hopefully get the injured lads back on the pitch. There's a lot of competition for places."
