Enda McGinley has handed the captaincy of the Antrim senior footballers to Naomh Éanna's Peter Healy for 2021, taking over the position held by Declan Lynch for the past two years.
The Saffrons will open their Allianz Football League Division 4 North campaign against Mickey Harte's Louth in Haggardstown tomorrow.
McGinley will cross paths on the sideline with his former Tyrone manager and fellow Errigal Ciaran clubman Mickey Harte in what is sure to go a long way to deciding the Division 4 promotion race.
Incredibly proud day for @peterhealy96 the Healy family and the entire Naomh Éanna community as he leads out @AontroimGAA against Louth in their first game of the Allianz Ireland league .Congratulations to Peter, a fantastic role model for our young Gael’s. #NÉA pic.twitter.com/Rg1ARl5BoX
