Last night’s latest instalment of Laochra Gael came in for rave reviews from Twitter viewers after featuring Cork legend Briege Corkery.
Corkery won a remarkable 18 All-Ireland titles with the Rebel County between football and camogie, as well as 16 All Star awards, before retiring nearly two years ago.
Last night’s episode included a warm tribute to the late Eamonn Ryan, who passed away this past January helped Cork ladies to unprecedented success during his tenure as manager.
Here were some of the tweets during and after last night’s show:

Sometimes when ya play a sport for a long time ya need the odd moment of being re-inspired. @Laochra_Gael did it tonight in spades with Briege Corkery's episode. Rekindling the simplicity of just enjoying the game we are lucky enough to play. #camogie
