Paul Whyte will form part of Shane Ronayne's new Waterford senior football backroom.
The former Deise captain, who was forced to retire from inter-county football three years ago due to persistent injury problems, has agreed to come on board as a selector with the recently appointed Cork native.
Moyle Rovers clubman Ed Burke will be involved in the training having previously worked under Ronayne when he was Tipperary ladies football manager. Former Kerry custodian Tomás Mac an tSaoir is also on board as goalkeeping coach.
