Watch: Limerick minor hurlers send classy 'get well soon' messages to Waterford player

Limerick minors show their support for Mark Dalton.

The 2020 Limerick minor hurling team and management have sent 'get well soon' messages to Waterford player Mark Dalton who suffered a spinal injury in a car crash last December.

Mark, his twin brother Tom, and three friends were involved in the serious accident, which left Mark with major trauma to his spine and in need of extensive rehabilitation.

The Dalton brothers were due to line out with Waterford in the Munster MHC against Tipperary days after the crash.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to support Mark in his recovery - https://www.gofundme.com/f/mq8pu-mark-dalton-recovery-fund

Limerick went on to claim the provincial title after beating Tipperary in the final but they haven't forgotten Mark as he continues his rehabilitation journey.

A classy, classy touch.
