Conor Laverty has been confirmed as the new Down U20 football manager this evening.
The Kilcoo forward will be assisted by an impressive backroom team, including legendary Meath All-Ireland winning manager Sean Boylan, former All-Star and AFL star Marty Clarke and highly regarded and experienced coach Declan Morgan.
St Peter's Dunboyne clubman Boylan guided Meath to four All-Ireland SFC titles during his 23-year reign in charge of the Royals.
He has assisted with a number of Meath team since he stood down as county senior manager in 2005 and previously worked with the UCD Sigerson Cup side.
