Na Piarsaigh 1-25

Patrickswell 0-17

Na Piarsaigh avenged last year's final defeat at the hands of Patrickswell by recording an eleven-point victory over the holders.

The Caherdavin club made no mistake in dethroning the 'Well in today's second Limerick SHC semi-final at the LIT Gaelic Grounds, setting up a repeat of the 2018 decider against Doon next Saturday.

Despite the loss of Kevin Downes to a hand injury, Na Piarsaigh always looked comfortable and held a 0-14 to 0-9 lead at half-time.

Cian Lynch cut the deficit to two for Patrickswell before the break but that was as close as they got to Na Piarsaigh over the remainder of the contest.

A David Dempsey goal had the former kingpins 1-14 to 0-12 in front as they put more daylight between the sides down the home straight.
