Doon will contest this year's Limerick SHC final against either Patrickswell or Na Piarsaigh.

With his fellow senior inter-county panellists Darragh O'Donovan and Richie English absent, Pat Ryan inspired the beaten 2018 finalists to a hard-earned victory at the LIT Gaelic Grounds this evening.

Five points from play for Ryan coupled with the first of Jack Ryan's two goals helped Doon take a 1-12 to 0-10 lead at the break.

Graeme Mulcahy scored a consolation goal for Kilmallock, but it's Doon who advance to next Saturday's decider.
