1-5 by Charles McGuinness helped title holders Naomh Conaill to a comfortable 2-16 to 0-5 victory over Glenfin in the Donegal SFC quarter-final at Davy Brennan Memorial Park today.
The hosts played the majority of the second-half with 14-men after Eoghan McGettigan was sent off, however, they kicked on to reach the last four. McGuinness was particularly impressive and his late goal put the icing on the 17-point win.
A Jason Morrow point had kept Glenfin within touching distance at half-time, 0-7 to 0-3. Then, Naomh Conaill reeled off 1-6, the opening goal from Ethan O'Donnell, by the second water break to end the game as a contest.
