London GAA is set to receive the go ahead to resume full contact training and play their county championships.
While club championship competitions across Ireland are on-going for the past month or so, London GAA has had to await approval from the UK government to resume its games.
Both RTE Sport and The Irish World newspaper are now reporting that approval sought by county board officials for a return to action will be sanctioned this week.
The hope is that games will resume in the English capital and throughout the UK from next Monday, September 1st.
