Members of the Cuala senior hurling squad have received fitness trackers from club sponsors Huawei so they can keep up their training at home.
Jijay Shen, CEO Huawei Ireland, sent a Band 3 Pro to each player with a lovely message, reading: "A chara, I hope you and your family are keeping safe in these challenging times. Huawei is proud of its association with Cuala GAA. When I first came to Ireland, I had never heard about hurling, and three years on I'm a huge fan. Cuala has played a big part in that, so thank you. I've enclosed a Huawei Band Pro so you can keep up with the training and track yourself against your team mates. Also, some masks which can be useful for everyday use. Stay safe and together we will get through this.
Is mise le meas, Jijay"
One of the world's largest companies and with facilities in Athlone, Cork and Dublin, Chinese technology giants Huawei have sponsored Cuala since March 2018 when they claimed back-to-back All-Ireland club SHC titles.
