Leinster minor championships to be run on knockout basis

Assuming games are played at all, the 2020 Leinster minor hurling and football championships will be run on a knockout basis.
The Leinster minor hurling championship was due to get underway this Saturday with the football equivalent starting on Tuesday May 5th.
With all sporting activity being suspended until at least May 5th in response to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, reverting back to knockout may be the only realistic option to completing inter-county or club championships within the calendar year, that's if the GAA get the go ahead to resume action.
