Ulster MFC redrawn as format changed

The Ulster MFC which was originally due to start this weekend has been postponed with the format of the competition now changed.

A Preliminary Round game between Derry and Cavan should have seen the minor championship get underway this weekend but will all GAA activities postponed, this has been cancelled.

Following a meeting of the Ulster CCC last night, it was also decided that the MFC will revert to a straight knockout format and that the draw will mirror the Ulster Senior Football Championship draw, to form curtain raisers if, or when, it is deemed suitable.

Quarter Finals

Derry V Armagh at Celtic Park, Derry

Donegal V Tyrone at Pairc MacCumhaill, Ballybofey

Antrim V Monaghan or Cavan

Fermanagh V Down at Brewster Park, Enniskillen

Semi Finals

Donegal or Tyrone V Derry or Armagh

Fermanagh or Down V Antrim or Monaghan or Cavan
