Limerick senior hurling champions Patrickswell are on the lookout for a new manager after Ciaran Carey stepped down after just one season in charge.
RTE sports commentator Martin Kiely is reporting that the Limerick legend has departed the 'Well hotseat, less than three months after guiding them to their first Daly Cup since 2016. Carey, who won nine Limerick SHC medals as a player, previously managed his home club to a county final appearance in 2015.
The former Kerry boss had been linked with the vacant Galway manager's post before it was filled by fellow Limerick man Shane O'Neill in November.
