Offaly enjoyed a winning start under new manager MIchael Fennelly at the expense of Kildare in today’s Kehoe Cup fixture at Birr.
Fennelly’s charges registered a 2-28 to 0-18 win against the Lilywhites who are managed by his former Kilkenny team-mate David Herity.
The first-half finished with the home side 0-16 to 1-9 to the good and second-half goals from Eoghan Cahill and Oisin Kelly applied the gloss to their performance.
