Imokilly 2-17
Glen Rovers 1-16
Imokilly were crowned Cork senior hurling champions for a third successive year after withstanding a stern test from Glen Rovers at Páirc Uí Rínn.
Declan Dalton and Seamus Harnedy scored 1-7 and 1-2 respectively as the divisional side recovered from the concession of an early goal to see off their city opponents before a crowd of 5,536. Patrick Horgan bagged 0-11 (0-7 from frees) for Glen, but they just came up short against a powerful Imokilly outfit who became the first team since St Finbarr's in 1982 to complete the three-in-a-row.
Donal Cronin's eighth-minute goal gave the challengers the perfect start, but Imokilly were never headed after Dalton goaled from a 13th minute free after Paudie O'Sullivan was fouled to propel them into a 1-4 to 1-2 lead.

Horgan left the minimum in it after 21 minutes, but the East Cork combination finished the half strongly to take a 2-10 to 1-7 lead into the break. Anthony Spillane, Dalton (two) and Shane Hegarty had points before O'Sullivan set up Harnedy for their second goal deep into injury-time.
Horgan grabbed the last point of the first half and added three more early in the second as Glen staged a comeback. Dean Brosnan had the gap down to two, 1-13 to 2-12, midway through the half, but that was as close as they would get as scores from Bill Cooper, Harnedy, Dalton and sub Shane O’Regan Óg sealed Imokilly's latest success.
Glen's season isn't over as they will now go on to represent Cork in the Munster club SHC.
