Archer is U20 Footballer of the Year

Dublin scoring sensation Ciaran Archer has been named U20 Footballer of the Year.
The Rush teenager registered a whopping personal haul of 10-35 from five outings (an average of 2-7 per game) as the Dubs qualified for the All-Ireland final, only to be beaten by Cork in Portlaoise.
Keith Ricken, who was in charge of the Rebels, was named as U20 Manager of the Year.
