High profile members of Dublin’s five in-a-row All-Ireland chasing squad can command a fee as high as €6,000 for promotional appearances.

According to a report in today’s Irish Independent, that was the figure that was quoted by a representative of one Dublin footballer for a recent appearance.

An industry source predicts that if Jim Gavin’s team creates history by winning a fifth successive Sam Maguire in September then some players could expect to pocket €10,000 for similar gigs in the future.
