Naomh Colmcille will forfeit all adult club games for eight weeks because of a fundraising tournament they hosted in February.
The club hosted the event on their second pitch at Pairc Colmcille as part of a local fundraising organisation's initiative to raise funds for former club player and coach Paul Dillon, who is battling Motor Neuron Disease.
According to The Inishowen Independent, Donegal's CCC launched a probe into the "unauthorised tournament", and hit the club with an eight-week ban from adult competitions.
During this time, they will forfeit all games that are scheduled to be played. Naomh Colmcille are appealing the penalty.
