Martin Fitzgerald has been appointed Kildare senior hurling captain for the coming year.
The Ardclough clubman will skipper the Lilywhites from centre back in tomorrow's Kehoe Cup semi-final against Antrim at Abbotstown. Naas' Brian Byrne is the vice-captain.
Kildare manager David Herity has made two changes to the team that defeated Wicklow last weekend with James Dolan and Ryan Casey coming in for Conor Gordon and Reece Gavin respectively.
