Limerick county board have scrapped plans to play the county senior hurling championship final under lights according to a report in the Limerick Leader.
The final was originally scheduled to be played on the evening of Saturday, October 27th at the Gaelic Grounds but has now been moved to the following afternoon at the same venue.
The game was switched at last night’s fixture planning meeting and could potentially see TG4 provide live match coverage.
The Gaelic Grounds will host the semi-final double header this Sunday between Patrickswell and Doon (throw-in 2pm) and defending champions Na Piarsaigh and Kilmallock (throw-in 3.45pm).
