Cork manager John Meyler has been lending his services to Kerry senior hurling side Kilmoyley as they prepare for this weekend's county final.
Kilmoyley take on Lixnaw in this year's decider and since Cork were beaten by Limerick in the All-Ireland SHC semi-final, Meyler has been working with the Kerry side.
It has been a shrewd move by Kilmoyley manager and former county star Shane Brick to bring in the experience of Meyler for the remainder of the campaign.
Kilmoyley captain Daniel Collins admitted to the Kerryman that Meyler's introduction has been a boost ahead of the final.
"It's really professional, maybe to every other year, they have really taken it up a notch and with John coming in, since Cork lost, it has really brought a great buzz around the place and it probably helped us over the line a small bit, the last day as well," said Collins.
The Kerry SHC final takes place in Austin Stack Park, Tralee on Sunday, August 26th, throw in at 3.15pm.
