Bryan Menton has been appointed as the new captain of the Meath senior football team.
The Donaghmore-Ashbourne clubman, who opted off the county squad in 2016 before returning last year under Andy McEntee, will fill the role of skipper which was previously held by Graham Reilly.
The 26-year-old made his senior debut for the Royal County in 2011 as a defender but has become more accustomed to the midfield position where he is picked for tomorrow's Allianz FL clash against Roscommon.
