The PSNI has launched a criminal investigation into police officers who took part in Armagh's All-Ireland football celebrations.
Video footage after Armagh's great win over Galway last month appeared to show PSNI vehicles driving through the village of Camlough sounding their sirens and waving flags. While the officers' actions were widely applauded by nationalists with SDLP MP and Laois football manager Justin McNulty saying they were “a positive sign of the times”, it has now emerged that they could face sanction.
Three neighbourhood officers have been informed that they are being investigated for alleged driving offences, BBC is reporting.
