Antrim are set to be without ace attacker Neil McManus for Saturday’s crunch Allianz Hurling League Division 1 relegation play-off against Offaly.
BBC Sport NI reports that McManus is understood to have sustained a hamstring injury in the days that followed the Saffrons’ defeat to Laois earlier this month.
It comes as a major blow to manager Darren Gleeson who looks set to also be missing Niall McKenna and Michael Bradley for this weekend’s vital clash in Navan.
Both Antrim and Offaly have lost all five of their league outings thus far this season and the losers on Saturday will be playing their league hurling in Division 2A next year.
