Really disappointed with the way Galway wilted in the 2nd half when Kilkenny fought back. It's hard to know if they have the mental toughness to finish the job when they get a decent lead. I don't think they can beat Kilkenny so they better be up against someone else next time, but as usual, it will take Galway a few years to get back to a final. Clare, Limerick,Cork and maybe Dublin will be better than us next year, we won't get past the quarter finals

Come on give some credit to Galway, they are easily the second best team in country and they are the one team likely to end Kilkenny's dominance. They will be stronger after this and all counties just have to plug away, Kilkenny will eventually be caught.

Second best......what a comment! No such thing........there's Kilkenny and then there's the rest. Who wants to be called
second best. Galway were just not good enough to-day.

No team will end Kilkennys dominance.
Sure they might catch the cats cold on the odd day, but hurling fans better get used to 3 in a rows and 4 in a rows from now on.

And Kilkenny bore their way to another All-Ireland. It's depressing how far hurling has regressed in the traditional strongholds outside of Kilkenny. Until Cork get the finger out and put together a serious team it's just going to be more of the same every year (and you can forget about Tipperary, always fail to deliver when it counts for the past 40 years and will continue to do so). Kilkenny are very good but aren't all that extraordinary either. A rejuvenated Cork is hurlings only chance

Damien Hayes says Galway will learn from this and come back stronger.Fair enough but did they not lose to KK in a supposedly big game a few weeks ago? Was that not their opportunity to learn and come back stronger? Why would they think that next year will be different? I hope that Damien Hayes is right. Galway, Tipp, Limerick and Class are equipped to give KK a game in the championship.. Maybe..I agree with jonCarter though

Well personally arock, I think Clare and Tipp are better and Galway are not much better than Cork,Limerick etc. Also, the last two times Galway reached a final, it took them years to be able to get back to another one. They've been the most inconsistent and unpredictable team in the last decade so I can't have too much faith in them putting two good years back to back

Nothing boring about it, except if your sick of seeing kk winning (who isn't?) match was great, great scores, high catches, etc result in doubt up to last 5 minutes, all that wasn't on display yesterday,
