Monaghan were excellent for most of the game, but made a bags of the last few minutes. They should've been holding on to the ball in injury time. Instead they had Beggan kicking 2 shots which were extremely difficult in such conditions and handing the ball straight back. One of them was near on impossible. Can't remember who it was, but the kickout dropped over the sideline which led to Dublin's goal. The fella behind him was in a much better place to catch it and called for it. Should've left it to him. There wasn't a Dub near them. People can whinge about the time added, but there was no play for at least half of the announced 6 minutes. Disappointed for Monaghan. Very good game in the coditions that prevailed. Monaghan will feel aggrieved with a couple of late decisions. Calling them back for a free in the middle of the field when McManus was through on goal was very poor.
