i think Kiltale could have a good year in the senior as they have a good solid young team coming up after winning almost everything possible in the county at under age. my darkhorses would be boardsmill as they have the easier side of the draw. and playing teams they beat easily in the league last year. wont be afraid of anyone i say
Rathmolyion have to win the intermediate this year if they dont they will be stuck down there for a while. Dunderry could be there main threat. good young team again and tasted success in winning the league last year.
Boardsmill will win the junior after losing last years final cant really see anything from stopping them..

I think in the inter a lot of teams could surprise. With clann na gael in d B side of the draw they could go far, along with Ratoath under new management they could pick up some good form.

Butterfly, to be fair Kiltale are tipped as the coming team every year but never really make it, they havent even reached the final since they won it in 2007. This year if anything I expect them to be less of a contender for the SHC, since Moynalvey are now a senior football club, and a few of their dual players would prioritise the football.

Senior-Kildalkey for 4 in a row. Mentally and physically so strong. They never know when they're beaten and also up the anti when required. if they're roughed up like last years final they're give it back with more. Quality experienced players throughout. oh and they have the DUCKSY!! Kilmessan and Kiltale are the only real threats, on they're day could beat Kildalkey. Intermediate- Should be a Clann na nGael V Rathmolyon Final but Dunderry are a young team coming, might be a bit too soon tho. Raoath could be handy, but Clann na nGael to win it, younger players coming through and more balanced while Rathmolyon have nothing coming at underage only an aging team tho talented.

For Senior it will be hard to overlook Kildalkey again. With Pat O Halloran in charge again they have to be short odds favourites. Kilmessan have to be strongest challengers. For years Kilmessan began looking at championship in June/ July where this year under James Heffernan they are putting in a lot of effort and will most definately be hard beaten.

For Intermediate it is hard to call. What is another year in Intermediate going to do for Rathmolyn. If Kilmessan take this grade seriously they will be a force. Kilskyre with Tommy Shine now playing for them will be tough. Dunderry are a good side, Clan Na Gael down from senior will be tough and Wolfe Tones will be a threat to many once they have a full squad out. I will call semi finals being Tones, Rathmolyn, Kilskyre and Clan Na Gael. After that it is a bun fight.

For Junior Moylagh should be strong and need to win this grade.

The intermediate league should be a cracking one this year, with im sure many suprises on the way. there are the favopurites obviously with clan na gael in the running, but one cannot forget the underdogs with the likes of raotoath who have new talents pushing through to the first team as well as some older talent, don't think kilskyre will pose much of a threat to any of the strong teams.. wolfe tones always seem to do all right so they could contend. rathmolyn are an over-rated team. dont know much about dunderry heard they are handy enough tho?? clan na gael tones ratoath and dunderry for semi's

well lads, was just looking at the starting team for the hurling there at the weekend. I must admit i'm a little out of touch with the county hurlers in Meath, but i'm well in keyed in enough to know that Kildalkey are pretty strong. One of the club teams i have seen, and in my opinion should be turning some heads in the club intermediate in Leinster, not sure whats gone wrong there. But how and ever I know Sean Heavey is still in with the county but whats the story with the Podger Geoghegan? One of the finest and fittest hurlers i seen in my time. last i heard he was back from his exploits in San Fran and Oz. would have surely have thought he'd be worth his place in the corner at least if not around the middle of the field.

He played with the team last year, mostly as a wing forward, but seems he is not involved this year. I agree Kildalkey are very strong, but it's surprising that they have yet to win a game in the leinster intermediate championship since they began to dominate Meath 3 years ago.

after 3 rounds things are looking interesting. any wiser predictions out there. intermediate is looking tasty. standard of hurling has been good with a few cracking games although the refereeing is holding some games back. we need a few more conor ferguson stlye refs i believe, you are sure to get a good tough fair match with him.

Kildalkey looking strongest at the minute, but I can see Kiltale coming into form at the right time this year. That is if they can scrape through qualifing.

A bit surprised by Kilmessan, not sure if they're producing all they can muster or are they holding back for the latter stages. I'd imagine with the management team they have in place this year that they'll improve come the latter stages too.

N O'm have been unlucky not to get another win under their belt. Last year when they reached the final they were scraping by in close games this year they seemto be the other side of those results.

Trim have been as I expected and I think will finish mid pack this year.

Na Fianna will go into the regulation play-off but should win it against the weaker team from the other group

Dunboyne and Killyon should come through form the other side. Killyon might have a big game in them and take somebody down, but can't see them making the final.
