Fresh from their victory over Dunsany in the Meath Junior Football Championship final, Bective turn their attention to the Leinster campaign.
Jody Devine's charges will take on Cashel in Pairc Tailteann on Saturday. The Longford club were defeated in the county Intermediate FC final by St. Brigids Killashee. St Brigids were beaten by Curraha in last year's Leinster Club JFC final in Pearse Park, Longford.
Bective will be hoping to continue a fine tradition of Meath clubs winning the provincial title at this level. Previous Meath winners are: Curraha 2015, Ballivor 2011, Ballinabrackey 2010, Longwood 2009, Moynalvey 2008, Clann Na nGael 2007, Ratoath 2004, Wolfe Tones 2003, Nobber 2002 and Drumree 1998.
Bective last took part in the Leinster JFC in 1997 when there were group stages in the competition under experimental rules which included four quarters in games and limited handpassing. They hosted Glen Emmets from Louth and travelled up to play St Vincent's in Dublin, losing both games.
