Pat Costello's reign as Mayo ladies manager has come to an end just a few short months after he took over the job.

The Mayo ladies board are now seeking their fourth manager in four years and the latest resignation comes just weeks before the start of the championship.

Mayo face Sligo in the first round of the Connacht championship on June 19th and they will need to fill the void in the immediate future.

Costello will continue his role as manager of the county under-14 manager, but he joins the likes of Kevin Reidy, Michael Ryder and Frank Browne, who all held the position in the last few years. Tweet
