O'Raghallaigh's celebrate their IFC success at Haggardstown
O'Raghallaighs 0-9
Clan Na Gaels 0-6
Drogheda won out over Dundalk as O'Raghallaighs deservedly claimed the intermediate championship with a three point win against Clan Na Gael.
Clan's best spell came in the opening quarter as a flurry of points had them 0-3 to 0-1 ahead with Paul Martin landing all their scores.
However, O'Raghallaigh's settled and finished the stronger of the two sides before the half time whistle. Ruairi Moore with two scores and Ben Rogan landed points as the sides went in level at 0-4 apiece at the break.
Two quick scores on the restart put O'Raghallaighs in front for the first time but with defences impressing, scores were proving hard to come by.
Barry Flanagan and Rogan fired crucial points to put three between the sides for the first time and although Mark McGeown ensured a tight finish with a point for Clans, a late Moore point ensured the Seamus Flood Cup was going to last year's defeated finalists.
