Lotto : There was no winner of this week's lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 3, 17, 18, and 24. The €40 winners were Martina Young; Thomas Cosgrove, Drumcrow; Aisling Corcoran, Coronea; Margaret Duignan,Drumcarey; Pauline McKiernan,Drumard. The next draw takes place on Tuesday 21st August in McSeain's.

DIVISION 2 UNDER 13 LADIES FINAL : The Under 13 Cornafean girls will compete for the Div. 2 league title on this Friday evening 17th August in Lacken at 7 p.m. They have been very consistent in their efforts so far and deserve their place in the final but will face a very stern test in the form of the Ballymahugh ladies. We wish them all the best and hope they can bring back the cup to Cornafean.

NIGHT AT THE RACES : A Gala night at the Races will be held on behalf of Cornafean GFC in McSeains on 29th September, 2012. Club members will be selling horses and all support will be greatly appreciated to help maintain our club facilities.

LADIES FUNDRAISER : Watch out for the Cornafean Ladies GFC who will be out on the streets of Cavan Town on Monday next at the Fleadh 20th August fundraising for the Ladies Club. Please support them in their efforts and all support will be greatly appreciated.

Bruce Ramble : 5km Bruce Ramble Walk/Jog/Run takes place on Friday 24th August. Registration is at McSeains Pub, Cornafean from 6.30pm to 7.00pm. Registration fee is €10.00 per person or €20.00 per family. All proceeds to Enable Ireland, Cavan. Come along and enjoy the ramble. Tweet
