Gearoid McKiernan

(Oldest Posts First)

First of all I have to say that it's going to be a blow to the county team for the rest of the season and the same would have to be said about Swanlinbar.
I really hope that Gearoid goes on to make a full recovery.
All too often these days there are cruciate/knee injuries, and after having one myself was recommended cycling, it did me good and I made a 100% recovery.
The secret is while strengthening the muscles through exercise, little or no friction is applied to the knee.
The bike will help strengthen the muscles and keep the knee in place, it's a lay man's advice , but it definitely worked for me.
Chin up and bigger brighter days are just around the corner.

Stop talking bull lads his doctor will decide how he recovers. He hardly gonna used hoganstand for his recovery programme! Oh and have users not been spouting about teamwork and ethic? Yes he is a great player but treads like this are stupid when the rest of the squad have to dust themselves down and prepare for Armagh!!
