I wonder would it be a good idea to introduce a Season Ticket to allow the purchaser into all Championship games played in Cavan
The ticket could be priced @ €100 or what ever was deemed appropiate and would be a reward for people who consistently attend matches.
It could be limited to the first 200 people to apply and pay before April 1st and @ €100 this would give €20,000.00 to the County Board up front.
Any thoughts on this?

I think they need to sort out the Championship first. This group set up is not working. We have the crazy situation where a team can qualify for the quarters without winning a game and a team that wins a game can go out..
The Donegal system where its based on knockout but you play home and away..If its 1 each after that then a playoff at a neutral venue( breffni).
That system would benefit everybody.. Crowds at these matches would far exceed the paltry figures seen in Breffni park for Double headers this year.
It would also put a bit of bite back into the Championship where teams have to perform from the first round or they are out. Open draw the whole way made after each round .Amalgamations from junior or intermediate clubs could even work too as with less games it wouldnt interfere with the junior or intermediate championship too much. It would give all players a crack at the Senior Championship.. ie( minimum of 2 games home and away)
Something like that should or could be tried for 3 years.
Then a Championship style ticket could be in place.. But in the present format i dont think many would pay up front to see meaningless group games like we have been watching this past few years..

Sounds like a good idea BUT would you not be competing against Club Breffni then. They pay I think 500 EURO not sure for how long so is this then a conflict ?? Just wondering thats all. John
