Moynagh taking nothing for granted

April 19, 2012

Michael Brady, Conor Moynagh and Barry Reilly of Cavan lift the Ulster U21 cup at Brewster Park.
Cavan centre back Conor Moynagh isn't taking anything for granted ahead of Saturday's Cadbury All-Ireland U21FC semi-final against Cavan in Longford.

The Breffni County are aiming to qualify for their second successive All-Ireland final at the expense of the surprise Connacht champions, and Moynagh is expecting a tough battle.

"We can in no way underestimate Roscommon," the Drumgoon clubman warned in the Irish News.

"They beat Mayo, who were in an All-Ireland minor final with the same group three years ago, and Mayo beat Galway who were the reigning U21 champions from last year.

"They beat Sligo well in the final too. Obviously, they are a very strong side, everyone at this level is. Once you've got this far in the competition you're obviously a good team and we'll take it as it comes."
