Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club Membership fees for 2024 are:
Adult Individual €50
Juvenile Individual €30
Family €80
Social Individual €30
Closing day and date for payment of all categories of membership fees for 2024,is Easter Sunday March 31st.
Please note, that as regards the use of the facilities of the Collinstown Hurling and Camogie grounds, its walking track in particular , all users of said facilities, each must be a member of Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club. The Collinstown Hurling and Camogie grounds, is a private sports facility, and therefore not a public park.
2024 membership fees can be paid also, to Patrick Keane at Collinstown's Daybreak Shop.
Sincere Condolences
Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club extends its sincere condolences to the family of William (Bill) Murtagh, Drimnagh, Dublin, and previously Kilpatrick, Collinstown, who died on December 31st 2023. RIP.
Lotto
Numbers drawn at the 2023 Christmas lotto draw, for a jackpot of €1200, held at Collinstown Hall on Sunday night December 17th, were 3, 4, 14, 15. The jackpot was not won. Four Match 3 tickets, won for those ticket holders €40 each. John Murray held three of those Match 3 tickets.
Daire Daly was the holder of the fourth Match 3 ticket. Both tickets were sold via Online Tickets. A draw for a total of 17 Christmas prizes also took place. Sincere congratulations to the prizewinners.
Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club extends its sincere gratitude and thanks to Thomas Salmon, for his generous donation of two prizes towards the Christmas Draw, a gesture warmly and sincerely appreciated.
Every Step Counts Challenge
Both Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club, and Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club, are registered as a joint entry in the 2024 Irish Life Every Step Counts Challenge, which started on Monday of this week, January 8th, and finishes at midnight on Monday February 12th.
In order to be a participant, please download the Mylife App, and go to Leinster GAA, and then register with Lough Lene Gaels Hurling and Camogie Clubs. Both clubs will have the opportunity to win a cash prize. This Mylife App allows each participant to track their own individual progress, and regional and national tables.
2024 National GAA Draw
Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club, is a participating club,in the 2024 National GAA Draw, which has the following prizes:
1st Prize: All new Dacia Sandero Car.
2nd Prize: €10,000
3rd Prize: All Ireland 2024 Hurling and Football finals package for two (2) persons.
4th Prize: All Ireland 2024 Hurling and Football finals package for two (2) persons.
5th Prize: All Ireland 2024 Football final package for two (2) persons.
6th Prize: All lreland 2024 Hurling final package for two (2) persons.
7th Prize: All Ireland 2024 Football final package for two (2) persons.
8th Prize: All Ireland 2024 Hurling final package for two (2) persons.
9th Prize: All Ireland 2024 Football final package for two (2) persons.
10th Prize: All Ireland 2024 Hurling final package for two (2) persons.
Tickets are €10 each.
As the national governing body of the GAA, is covering the cost of the prizes, all member clubs of the GAA that are selling tickets, including Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club, retain the money they each obtain,as a consequence of selling tickets for this draw.
Please note that all books of draw tickets, sold and unsold alike, must be in the possession of Patrick Keane, at Collinstown's Daybreak, by no later than than Thursday February 15th, or earlier, if possible please!
Thereafter, all tickets, sold and unsold alike, have to be forwarded to the National governing body of the GAA, at its National administration office, located at Dublin's Croke Park Stadium.
The draw itself, is scheduled to take place on Wednesday March 27th 2024.

Walsh Cup Senior Hurling Competition
Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club was represented on the Westmeath starting XV v Dublin, played at Parnell Park, located in the Dublin suburb of Donnycarney, on Thursday evening, January 4th, in a 2024 Walsh Cup Round 1 Divisional S.H fixture, by Micheal Daly (0.01), David Williams (0.08), and Eoin Daly (1.00). Noel Conaty was listed as a substitute.
