Almost on first name terms at this stage, St Michaels and Caulry met for the Fourth time this year in the Division 4 semi Final Friday evening last 18/9/26

Caulry came out on top this time in poor conditions and fading light in Mount Temple and now face Athlone, again.

I would like to thank the players in this group for a memorable year. We have made massive progress on and off the field and are a cracking bunch of lads. I am very grateful to have being part of your group. 

To the lads who are moving into adult football, I wish you many enjoyable injury free years and look forward to seeing you progress with your clubs.

Memorial Walk.

Our Annual Memorial walk.

Takes place on Saturday night next  26th of September around the fabulous Nancy to Nellie walk.

Fr Martin will say prayers in the village of Fore at 6-50pm before the walk starts in the village at 7pm. Remembering all our loved ones who have passed away over the years. 

The walk is open to everyone we love to see ye all there.

Ballycomoyle Cake Shed open weekends. 

Selling home baked goodies: bread, cookies, buns, brownies etc. Located close to our GAA pitch and not far from Mullaghmeen Forest. Both cash and Revolut accepted. Eircode: N91-T8-83.

15/9/26

Our final game of 2026 saw our girls travel to Mullingar to take on Mullingar Shamrocks. You wouldn't think by looking at this game that it was there last, both teams went at it from the thro in, Ballycomoyle played some great football and defensively had to work as a unit to keep out the home team. The girls kept plugging away and got some good scores. At half time the reams had nothing between them. 

Onto the 2nd half and much the same, Ballycomoyle worked hard defensively but struggled slightly to get the ball to the forwards, but never tired. A fine end to our 2026 year.

Thanks to parents for travelling. Thanks to Mullingar Shamrocks and the young female referee Mairead, who did an excellent job, 

2 training sessions left before we break for the year.

On Saturday morning last 19/9/26 Ballycomoyle attended the final Under 8 and Under 10 girls go games of the year in Multyfarnham. We played CFCW, Bunbrosna, Multyfarnham, Milltown and Baiinacarrigy. Thanks to Multyfarnham for a well organised blitz -they even got the rain to hold off. Our young girls showed great skill and team spirit in their games. We were delighted and proud to see how much they have developed as individuals and ad s team since the beginning of the year. Thanks to all the young girls and their parents that travelled to Multyfarnham and all of the games we have had this year. We hope all the girls enjoyed the football and fun with their friends!
