We held our Split the pot draw on Saturday night last 29/8/26 in the Lough Lene Inn, Collinstown

Under 12 girls Go games
The Ballycomoyle Under 12 girls played their penultimate game of the series this evening at home to The Downs
From the first whistle our girls meant business, playing some great football, they gave the opposition no time on the ball tackling as a team, showing some great heart, both teams showed great determination on a miserable wet dark evening, but this didn't deter the girls. A great spectacle for the supporters.

Under 16 girls quarter final
We welcomed Caulry to North Westmesth to play the 2026 division 2 quarter final,
The game started well for us and we went ahead with some lovely football. We were unlucky with our scores, with some wides and one shot on goal finding the crossbar instead of the net.
Caulry played well and at the break we found ourselves trailing by 4 points

After some substitutions and team talk we started the half with great determination, and went close at one stage with only 1 point between the teams,
Caulry pushed on and found the winner just at the whistle.

We now bow out of the 2026 championship, the girls can hold their heads high, they were fantastic all year showing great respect to their peers and their coaches and mentors, they played some fantastic football and never gave up until the final whistle, they played in scorching sunshine and torrential rain and all in-between, we are extremely proud of them and all they have achieved.
Well done girls, we'll be back bigger and better next year. Ballycomoyle Abu.

St Michaels under 20.
St Michael's hosted their first game of the 2026 Under 20 Div3 Championship on Tuesday 25th August against the travelling Tyrellspass team.
The visitors started strongly, however tenacious play from St Michaels narrowed the gap just before half time to just 2 pts. A late flourish before the half time whistle seen Tyrellspass score 1-1 which left it 2.8 to 1.5 at the break. The visitors continued their push in the second half and ran out winners. St Michaels had spells of excellent play and periods where they dominated, but this didn't reflect on the scoreboard. An impressive display nonetheless with plenty of room for improvement and some brilliant individual performances.
St Michaels next game is against Millmore Gaels, fixture TBC.
