Fantastic win for St Michael's under 16 team as they defeat Milltownpass.
Under 16 football Championship Division 3 round 4.

Milltownpass 3-13
After a prolonged dry spell, rain was not expected to be a factor in this re fixed match from round 1, but rain it did and plenty of it.
St Michaels traveled to play a Milltownpass team who humbled them in the league determined to make amends.
Wet conditions meant lots of handling errors but the home side raced into an early lead before the visitors got to grips with the conditions.
Milltownpass went in at the break up by single point but a fantastic second half display from every St Michaels player set up a grandstand finish and the fitness of the lads got them over the line.
Game of the year for this group who are 2 from 2 in the championship.
Congratulations to the Players and Management team on a fantastic win.

Junior men.
Our junior men earned an excellent point against a very strong Rosemount side on Sunday morning last 9/8/26 and to be honest the Ballycomoyle lads will be very disappointed they didn't take the two points on offer.
Rosemount put over two 2 pointers plus a single to go 5 points up after 8 minutes The Ballycomoyle lads Registered their first score after 11 minutes, a point. It was in the 15th minute that Ballycomoyle had the ball in the back of the Rosemount net Ballycomoyle followed up with another fine point. Rosemount and Ballycomoyle both traded points, but Rosemount put a fine move together to finish in the back of the
Ballycomoyle net.
Both teams traded points just before the half time whistle sounded.
Half Time
Ballycomoyle 1-05.
Rosemount. 1 -07.
Ballycomoyle started very well in the second half and on the 37 minute put over a fine point to leave the bare minimum between the two teams and on the 44th minute Ballycomoyle were level with a well taken 45 .
With a lot of out field play it was Rosemount that kicked over a fine point on the 55th minute their first score of the second half to go ahead by one point but the Ballycomoyle lads kept attacking and on the stroke of full time an excellent move up the field was kicked over the bar for the equaliser .

Ballycomoyle 1-08.
Rosemount. 1 -08.
It would have been travesty if Ballycomoyle didn't get a result from this match.
The Bal players and management team should be very pleased with their performance especially in the second half holding Rosemount to a single point.
We now move on to Multyfarnham on Sunday next 16/8/26 where we take on Delvin.
Fantastic win for our Under 14 Girls.
Our Under-14 girls played St. Joseph’s last Tuesday in what was a tough and closely contested game from the very first whistle. Both teams traded scores throughout the match, and at half-time our girls were trailing by just two points.
The girls showed fantastic determination, never giving up, and every player performed brilliantly as part of the team. There was very little between the sides, and it really could have gone either way. Thankfully it was Ballycomoyle’s day, with the final score finishing Ballycomoyle 4-15
St.Joseph’s 4-13.
A huge thank you to our five Under-12 girls who played up. They were a fantastic addition to the team. We’re very lucky to have such talented young players representing the club. Well done to all the girls on another great performance.

U10 Girls Blitz
The U10 Ballycomoyle girls had a lovely morning in St. Loman’s GAA for their next blitz.
The girls played three games against two St. Loman’s teams and Goldsmiths. It was a great opportunity for them to put into practice the new skills they have been learning and developing at training.
There was some lovely football played throughout the morning, with plenty of effort, teamwork and, most importantly, lots of fun.
A big thank you to all the parents who bring the girls to training and our blitzes each week. Your support is greatly appreciated.
