U12 Boys Match Report – Ballycomoyle  v  Cill Óige

Our Under 12 boys welcomed a very strong Cill Óige  side to Ballycomoyle on Friday evening last 3/7/26 for an entertaining game of football.

The Ballycomoyle lads produced some lovely passages of play and never stopped working from the first whistle to the last. They showed great determination, teamwork and skill throughout the contest.

Credit must go to Cill Óige, who played some outstanding football and maintained their lead throughout the game. They were deserving winners on the evening and provided a great test for our young players.

A sincere thank you to Jimmy Weldon for officiating the game, and to our maintenance committee for having the pitch in superb condition, providing an excellent playing surface for both teams.

Well done to all the players for their effort and sportsmanship. Every game is another opportunity to learn and improve, and the future is bright for these young footballers.

Multyfarnham  v  Ballycomoyle

Our girls travelled to Multyfarnham this evening for a challenge match, on a glorious evening for football both teams were up for this challenge and that was evident from the first whistle, Ballycomoyle started well showing some great skills and determination matching the hosts in every department, both teams traded off scores and a half time there was little between them, 

Onto the 2nd half and the two teams kept plugging away, Both teams had little in the way of subs and this showed, But Ballycomoyles never give up attitude was always there. 

A worthwhile challenge for both teams, thanks to Referee Jimmy Weldon, and thanks to Multyfarnham for hosting.

Next up is Round 9 of Go Games v  Coralstown kinnegad  in Ballycomoyle on 14 July.
