Glen Dimplex All Ireland Intermediate Camogie Championship

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club had player representation on the Westmeath panel of players that played Meath in a Group 2 Round 1 match of the Glen Dimplex All Ireland Intermediate Camogie Championship on Sunday May 24th. The Donaghmore/Ashbourne Hurling and Camogie grounds was the match venue. Westmeath 4.13 Meath 1.12 was the match result. Westmeath is scheduled to play Carlow in a Group 2 Round 2 fixture of this competition at a Westmeath venue on Saturday June 6th.

Secondary Schools Camogie

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club was represented on the Loreto College Mullingar panel of players that contested the Leinster Minor (D) Camogie Championship Secondary Schools final, Loreto College Mullingar (LCM) v Pobalscoil Heywood (PH) of Laois, played at Banagher, Offaly, on Thursday afternoon, May 21st. LCM 3.12 PH 3.05, was the match result. Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club warmly and sincerely congratulates the Loreto College Mullingar panel of players and team management on that success.

Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club extends its sincere condolences to the family of Louise Murray, Mount Murray, Bunbrosna, a past Chairperson of the former Bunbrosna Camogie Club, who died on Thursday May 7th.
